Institutional Development Officer (IDO)

Job summary:
Under the guidance and supervision of the project Team Leader, IDO will contribute to building the institutional capacity of FPCCIA, concerned Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (CCIA) and Business Support organizations (BSOs) active in the development of the targeted clusters.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
-Manage the relations with the concerned CCIAs and BSOs involved in the development of selected clusters.
-Facilitate the know-how transfer of cluster development to the FPCCIA.
-Reinforce the ownership and the mobilization of the FPCCIA network to support selected clusters.
-Reinforce the capacities of FPCCIA, concerned CCIAs and BSOs on specific cluster topics.
-Conduct assessments for the concerned CCIAs and BSOs.
-With the guidance of an international expert will provide support to the development of strategic plans for the concerned CCIAs and BSOs.
-In collaboration with a team of InternationalNational experts will provide support to the development of relevant services to the members of concerned CCIAs and BSOs.
-Provide support and animate training for the associative Leadership and members and follow up through on-the-job reinforcement process.
-In collaboration with a team of international experts will provide support to the development of economic intelligence services in FPCCIA network.
-Prepare scope of work, TORs, forms, tools for the needed tasks in a professional manner.
-Conduct follow up, guidance, monitoring and field visits related to the project activities.
-Coordinate and implement the planned activities on a results based basis.
-Assist in the M&E through collecting and documenting the data to ensure the impact of project activities.
-Facilitate and organize workshops and training sessions to concerned CCIA’s and BSOs.
-Assist in the daily operations including specific assignments to oversee and coordinate specific activities.
-Provide FPCCIA and the Team Leader with monthly reports and updated information when required.
-Any other duties as required.

Key Qualifications:
-Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Development Studies or any other related field, master would be a plus.
-Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
-Proven experience in performing the mentioned/similar tasks and responsibilities.
-Excellent communication, facilitation and listening skills.
-Excellent presentation skills.
-Professional attitude and ability to work in a team.
-Highly organized, able to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively, and ability to work under pressure.
-Willingness to improve skills and knowledge.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
-Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
-Valid driving license.
